After getting my pilots license, instructing a while and flying for an airline I forgot that flying is supposed to be fun. This is what this blog is all about – learning how to have fun in aviation again. If you are anything like me, that means a lot of time spent researching, learning, comparing and eventually buying building and flying. My goal, along with your input, is to come up with the best solution to fulfill my mission while at the same time re learning why I got into aviation in the first place! Among the posts you’ll find my limited but growing knowledge on many things. This includes experimental aircraft, their types and limitations, modifying and of course building them. You’ll find out what it takes to buy and build a kit plane and how fast (or slow) one can be built! You’ll also see my in depth research into experimental engines for aircraft conversions, including automotive engine conversions and perhaps even snowmobile engines.
My only request is that you become part of the action. This site and blog is only about me and my adventure. I love the aviation community and I want you to be part of this adventure with me. Join me, my wife, and our dogs as we set off on the adventure of a lifetime. Subscribe to stay up to date!
